Smith Memorial Playhouse and Playground.

Today we took about a 15-20 drive to fairmount park. We went to the smith playhouse/play ground. It is a mansion that is converted into a huge playhouse and has a huge playground with super unique equipment. It has been around for over a hundred years. It is known for it huge slide that goes from a second floor window to the ground and it is all hardwood. The best part about it was that it is free ......
Liv had a blast. The slide was the biggest hit.

The basement is a miniature little city with streets and tricycles. Big traffic lights, meters, parking lots, gas station. All proportioned for the kids. Apparently when it is busy it is like bumper cars but luckily we got there right when they opened so we had most of the mansion to ourselves.

This mansion has alot of history and it was fun to play on the same grounds as kids of the city have for over a century.

Not sure who enjoyed the slide more, Liv, Ry, Charlotte, or me.....

Even though the equipment has been updated and renovated, they all resemble original equipment that was there over 100 years ago.
