Liv's 3rd Birthday family celebration!

Well, Well, Liv had a fun time on Saturday. She started out fairly shy (in true Livi style). She woke up from her nap and had no clue it was "The day" she has been waiting for. I never tell her what she is doing after her nap, until "after her nap". We have learned the hard way that the excitement kicks in and creates a "no nap day".
After some warming up, Liv was enjoying all of the birthday attention. She ran around the yard with the other girls. I got them all matching fairy wings...... It was so cute seeing them all run around with them on. It was almost like a ice breaker and they all instantly felt connected. Then Aunt Nichole busted out the "traveling princess wardrobe". All the girls put on dresses...... they were all in true girly moods. With the giggles and squeals.
I was so proud of Liv when we sang to her because in the past she has always cried. Once again, because she doesn't like all of the attention on her. For dessert we had cider donuts (yum.......brought fresh from Springdale Farms in jersey...thanks aunt chrissy and uncle bri). I also set up banana split stations and the kids had a BLAST. Even though none of them wanted a banana......
Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Some people played washers outback, danced at "Club Katrina's (in the basement)" with the kids, or just chatted and caught up with each other.
Liv really lucked out and got lots of fall clothes since she only had summer 3t stuff (thanks Meme/Gpop, Camarote Clan, G.G.C.) She, also, got money to buy anything she chooses (thanks grandmom/grandpop, great gram).
Uncle John and Aunt Jeanna got Liv her soccer gear. Let me just say she will be the best dressed soccer player in Havertown. Leave it up to me to make soccer about fashion....
And Liv got some fun dolls and girly princess stuff from Aunt Chrissy, Aunt Nichole, and the Mackeys.

Overall, she lucked out!

Both of the girls were pooped. Charlotte slept for 7 hours before needing a feeding and Liv crashed as soon as she finished opening her gifts with mommy and daddy.

I would have to say, I have enjoyed all of her birthday festivities. It is so fulfilling to watch Liv feel so special on her birthday.
