Belly Update.

Well I think the next time we are updating it will no longer be a belly update. It will be a baby update. I had an appointment this morning and all is well. I am almost 4 centimeters and 80% effaced (cervix is soft). The baby has moved from -3 station to -1 station. The doctor said that is why I have been having lots of pressure this week. For those that don't know 0 station is show time. They are predicting a baby a little bigger than liv but average. The past two doctors have said a small 7 pounder. Liv was 6 lb 10 oz.
The doctor said I shouldn't plan on seeing them next week and I should be having a baby this week........ we will see.
Could be this afternoon or maybe this weekend. We can't wait to suck her face off.........

Two signs that Lo is on her way...

Two things happened today that made us feel lucky and like Charlotte is on her way.....

While driving along 76 today a hawk flew over over car and along side us for at least 15 seconds. Seeing a hawk has always been a sign of luck to us. Whenever we see one, we know we will have a good day. The experience this morning was surreal and left us with our jaws dropped.

The second thing that happened was while we were outback grilling some dinner we saw a huge rainbow after some storms. The picture doesn't show the whole thing but it was a full semicircle that went over our neighborhood.

The only sense we could make of this was a good sign that life is about to get even better.

food shopping.

Liv loves helping us food shop. It is so funny because she walks around and knows all of our staple items. She puts them right in her cart without me even telling her too. She also throws anything princess/dora/diego related along the way.......

Perkiomen Valley Steam Trains.

On Sunday we went to ride some mini-trains. Ry used to go when he was younger and I think going back made him feel like a kid again. Liv loved it! She sat in front of Ryan all by herself and giggled the whole time.

Update on my belly.

Went to the doc's tonight at 38 weeks 2 days.
2.5 centimeters and 50% effaced. I left there having contractions but they only lasted 1 hour. We will see.....

Overheard....

Way too innocent and funny to not post this one.....

Liv got a few mosquito bites over the past few days from playing out in her pool. One is on her butt.

She turned around and was trying to look at it and scratch it today. Then she says to me, "Mommy, I got a boobie on my butt."

So funny!

Look at those locks........

We may have waited 3 years for that hair, but it was worth the wait.......

Overheard.

Ryan was recaulking the bathtub and Liv wanted to help. She picked up the Windex and wanted to spray it.

Daddy said, "Liv be careful that is a chemical. You can't play with it."

Liv said, "But, Dadddddd, I like tentacles."

We all laughed.

Now we know who really does the blogging.

Whooping on Aunt Jeanna.

Here is proof that Liv is pretty into playing Wii....... She kicked Aunt Jeanna's butt in boxing......

St. David's park kid concert.

Liv had an evening out with her cousins, aunt nichole, and grandmom that involved a yummy trip to peace of pizza and a free kid's concert in Radnor. They had so much fun ruling the pizza joint and playing hide and go seek. If it weren't for the heat, the girls may have enjoyed dancing off some steam. They did enjoy playing on the playground before the crowd came and eating the dippin dots ice cream though.....

I'm all grown up....

That is my favorite part of the video. When Liv claims to be all grown up.......(yet she is still in a car seat...haha)
I can't help but want to eat her face off with those stylish shades on.......

you are my sunshine.

Liv has been so sweet lately. When she was a teeny tiny baby, I used to sing, "You are my sunshine" to her as she drifted off to sleep. I started singing it to her again alot lately and she loves it. She lays her head on my shoulder and melts my heart. Just to think I will be singing it with a princess on each shoulder in about a week or two. So fulfilling.....

Now she has been practicing singing it. I live for the moment that she will sit and sing it to her baby sister.

Our Turkey is still cooking....

WEll, I have 2 more weeks until the due date. My appointments are now weekly and all is well. Our little one is in position and starting to wrk her way down. I am 1 cm (with Liv I was 2 when I went into labor). Stay tuned for her big arrival........

Daddy's Birthday.

For Ry's birthday we had his family over to bbq. Sydney, Ava, and Liv had a blast in the pool, playing tea party in Liv's room, and cooking up some concoctions in the play kitchen. The adults played washers (yard game) and had a few drinks. We grilled up some hamburgers and hotdogs and had some cake. It was fun watching the girls go crazy in the backyard with the hose and soak each other. Sorry for the lack of pictures, but Liv spent most of the day in her birthday suit. She doesn't like her clothes being wet (evena bathing suit). She has been really into baring it all lately. Get it out now......

Overheard.

Just one of the funny toddler conversations overheard....
(while getting in the car to leave grandmom's)

Olivia said to Ava, "Hey, Ava, I gotta go now."

Ava said to Liv, "K, Bye, Poop"

Puddle Jumping.

Liv had a blast with her cousins jumping in the puddles after a quick storm at grandmom's house........

Apologies in advance.

I may become a slacker with blogging once our little baby arrives. I hope not to, because nothing is worth more than journaling our life together. However, I know with Liv, I only blogged once every few months in the beginning because I was so busy with that darn baby book (haha).
I may be posting more pictures than actual text. But I am sure most of you can use a break from my rambling anyway.
Stay tuned.......Ry's assignment as soon as he gets home from the hospital is to post pictures of our new family.

(BTW I haven't posted pictures because my laptop is currently out of order until we get a new battery for it, which we are doing asap)

4th of July.

I know most people think having a weekend at the shore of clear skies and ninety degree weather is an ideal weekend at the shore. However, my fondest memories growing up are hanging in by the bay during a thunderstorm and playing games. My dad would usually be sitting out on the porch watching the lightening hit the water and hollaring for us to come and watch it with him. Chrissy, Johnny, and I would be breaking out the "rainy weather toys" such as puzzles, uno, or dominos. My mom would be in the kitchen prepping some yummy open face jersey tomato sandwiches......
This weekend, we got a little taste of both of the ideal shore weather. What a great way to end our summer trips as a family of three. Our next time down to Exit 10 will be as a family of 4 (plus Corriah). We got to hang out with Jeanna's sisters (from colorado), Brian, Chrissy, Kevin, Korrin, and our summer friends in the basin. Our days were a filled with just relaxing, runs to the coffee shop, shopping, sitting out on the dock........
Nights were hearing fireworks, playing card games, ordering take-out, eating crabs, playing wii, watching ufc fight.....

huh, hmmm, huh, hmmm, huh, hmmmmm

K, this is probably the most annoying thing ever but I had to post it so I don't forget in years to come. Liv has gotten into the habit of saying "Huh" or "Hmm" after EVERYTHING I say to her. I end up repeating myself at least 4 times. I know she hears me.............. (already finding ways to get under my skin). I hope she gets over it soon.....

Playing at Grandmom's.

Liv loves her weekly trips to visit her cousins and grandmom and grandpop. She has become quite the daredevil driving the Barbie Jeep. Just a few weeks ago, she would run from it in fear that we would force her to get in. Now she is impatiently waiting her turn. She even loves driving full speed down this little hill and cruising across the driveway (wish I had the flip in hand to show u).

The time has come.....

The time has come where my milk expires after my pregnancy expires. That is always a super strange feeling to know that the milk will be in the fridge and fresh after we become a family of four...........

Dance Recital.

I got sucked into buying a $35 dvd to watch 1 minute of liv shaking her hips. I figured in 20 years it will be priceless......
